On October 29, at the ITHQ, the tasting of the medal-winning wines of the 2024 edition of Sélections Mondiales des Vins took place, as part of a discovery tasting event in the form of a wine fair of award-winning wines by region or country. It is therefore for a third consecutive year that we welcomed more than 175 professionals from the wine industry, the wine press, the restaurant industry, the SAQ, as well as members of A3 and RASPIPAV.
The latter benefited from privileged access to more than 200 award-winning wines during the 31st edition of the competition, which took place from October 10 to 12, contributing to the reputation of the winners and thus offering an exclusive showcase to wines aspiring to be marketed on the North American market.
With its reputation and international influence, the Sélections Mondiales des Vins competition showcased award-winning wines from the following countries and regions:
from Argentina, in collaboration with Pro Mendoza;
from France, the regions of Bordeaux (in collaboration with Enosens, Crus Bourgeois and EVV) and from Occitanie, Languedoc-Roussillon and South-West (in collaboration with ADOCC);
from Spain, from the regions of Rioja, Castilla y Leon, Ribera del Duero, Rueda and Toro;
from Moldova, in collaboration with Les filles du Vigneron and WOM;
from Portugal, from the Tejo region;
from Chile in collaboration with ProChile;
from the Czech Republic in collaboration with Niche and Nosh;
from Japan with Sake in collaboration with NTA;
from Switzerland, in collaboration with Vinea and Swiss Wine;
from around the World with low alcohol wines in collaboration with Degré Zéro;
wines from Dandurand Group.
