For the second consecutive year, the jury of Sélections Mondiales des Vins has awarded the title of Producer of the Year to the Adega de Pegões Cooperative and Mr. Jaime Quendera, oenologist at Adega de Pegões, whose wines achieved the highest average score for their country, calculated based on their top five rated cuvées.
Through his expertise and exemplary precision, Mr. Quendera and his team at the Adega de Pegões Cooperative continue to embody the excellence of Portuguese winemaking.
The wines of Adega de Pegões—precise, elegant, and true to their terroir— reflect a genuine mastery of the art of winemaking. This distinction highlights not only the remarkable consistency in the quality of their wines but also Mr. Quendera’s significant contribution to the international recognition of Portuguese viticulture.
Beyond traditional distinctions, Sélections Mondiales des Vins also celebrates innovation, passion, and dedication.
