All are preparing to evaluate the best wines, sakes, and ciders from around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Entries closed on September 15, and the verdict is clear: SMV 2025 promises to be exceptional with more than&nbsp;<strong>1,550 products registered<\/strong>, representing&nbsp;<strong>26 countries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a year marked by challenges \u2013 trade barriers, climate conditions, and evolving consumption patterns \u2013 producers have risen to the occasion with unwavering motivation. Their ambition? To stand out in global markets and see the quality of their products recognized by an exceptional international jury.<\/p>\n<p>A huge thank you to them for their trust\u2026 and let the competition begin!<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h4 class=\"null\"><strong><br \/>A World-Class Competition<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>SMV 2025 remains the largest international competition in the Americas showcasing the most extensive representation of European wines.<\/p>\n<p>This year, more than 835 wines come from the four major producers:&nbsp;<strong>Portugal, France, Italy, and Spain<\/strong>. Adding&nbsp;<strong>Central and Eastern European countries<\/strong>&nbsp;brings the total to&nbsp;<strong>67% of all entries<\/strong>, highlighting the continent\u2019s remarkable viticultural diversity.<\/p>\n<p>For the second consecutive year,&nbsp;<strong>Portugal<\/strong>&nbsp;stands out as the&nbsp;<strong>most represented country<\/strong>, with more than<strong>&nbsp;294 products&nbsp;<\/strong>entered in the competition.<\/p>\n<h4><b><br \/><\/b><\/h4>\n<hr>\n<h4 class=\"null\"><strong><br \/>Innovation and Renewal<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>SMV 2025 also highlights fast-growing categories:&nbsp;<strong>sakes, organic wines, low-alcohol wines, and alcohol-free wines<\/strong>.
